Faculty Resources

Requesting books, DVDs or periodicals
The library heartily encourages faculty members to request material for the library to purchase. We will order materials in support of curriculum, or items that would benefit the library’s collection.

If you need specific items for a class, be sure to request them a month in advance of need. To request material, email librarian@pnca.edu.

Faculty who wish to order multiple copies of a book for student purchase, should order through the PSU bookstore, Looking Glass Books, or some other vendor.

Course Reserves
Faculty are welcome to build up reserve reading shelves for any course. Bring books, DVDs, or other materials, to the library and staff will create a reserve shelf for you behind the circulation desk. Contact Serenity Ibsen, Library Access Services Manager, for any questions or concerns regarding course reserves ( sibsen@pnca.edu ).

Digital Course Readings
The library will digitize course readings, on request. Please allow 10 days processing time. Library staff will provide you with PDFs of the articles. You may then post them on your password protected Homeroom page.

  • Course Syllabus
  • Course Readings List/Schedule
  • Faculty Name
  • Each article must have complete citations.

Digital Images
Library staff will create digital images for teaching purposes. To request digital images, download the form below, fill it out, and turn in to library staff. Turn around time is approximately 10 days.
